WHY DO WE DO THIS?

In recent years, and all around the world, we have men rising up who pass themselves off as pastors. But, their ONLY objective is to exalt themselves, and they do this by telling masses of asses what they, the asses, want to hear. They promise wealth, health, happiness, and power over people.

Paul tells us what to do with them:
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

NEW DUDE RISING

This is a blog to ferret out and expose the latest dudes who are building mega churches and mega anything.

Out presupposition is that the Lord Jesus consciously kept his ministry on earth small and close. He made NO effort to be grand or build a gaudy personal image to make the masses swoon over him. The most glaring model for this post is Rick Warren and Joel Osteen.

We also want to encourage you who read here to put us on to any rapidly rising dudes you find. This may be from anywhere in the world. The USA is not the only place where this phenomenon is obvious.

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Luke 12:16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
